After School Activities
The objective of the After-School Activities Program is to provide a balance of academic, sports, and fine arts opportunities that align with our standards and school culture while also offering the greatest number of students the opportunity to participate. Traditionally, each semester, all teachers sponsor activities in which they are knowledgeable, feel passionate about, and most importantly, in which the students have an interest. These activities enrich our students’ learning through participation, competition, fun, and the use of English.
Sports
Colegio Internacional de Carabobo (CIC) is a proud member of the Venezuelan Association of North American Schools (VANAS), competing year-round with other international schools in the country. Our Athletics Program is dedicated to nurturing the talents and character of our student-athletes, both on and off the field.
At CIC, we believe in creating a holistic experience that fosters academic excellence and athletic prowess. Our diverse sports offerings include volleyball, basketball, soccer, and softball, each providing students with the opportunity to develop their skills and sportsmanship.
Our student-athletes have received recognition for their exceptional skills and sportsmanship, being selected for various all-tournament teams. We encourage all students to participate in our athletic program, as we believe success is a direct result of the excellent participation and support from CIC students, faculty, and parents.
Summer Program
Our community has high standards in regards to sportsmanship and conduct. We expect our students and coaches to uphold these standards at all times. I would ask that you, as a spectator, reinforce these standards when you interact with the opposing teams, coaches and contest officials. The athletic department is grateful to our parents who provide unrelenting support, energy and enthusiasm for our student-athletes and coaches.
